The list of 18 bid cities that the United States has given to FIFA in their bid for the 2018 or 2022 World Cup has been released. We are sad to hear that Detroit has been cut from that list. However, this will not deter our motivation to support the bid to have the World Cup back in the USA. The closest location for us is now Indianapolis, and we will take advantage of any and every opportunity that may be given to us if in fact the United States earns their bid as World Cup host, even though unlike last time in 1994, Detroit will not play a part.
